We've got some fantastic news to share! Every few years, Taylor Wimpey North East goes on the hunt for a charitable organisation to support, and this time around, it was all about what their employees wanted. After a heartfelt nomination from Louie's godmother, Georgia. Let me share her thoughts "Taylor Wimpey are always keen to work alongside and support local charities so every two years colleagues are asked if they wish to nominate a chosen charity for the company to partner with, which then goes down to a vote. I nominated Louies Trust and was blown away by the number of votes that were received, it was amazing to know that a charity that is so close to my heart was selected. I know this partnership will make such a huge difference and I’m looking forward to helping support Louie’s Trust with a variety of funds raising events."

Thanks to Georgia, Louie's Trust won the hearts of the team and secured Taylor Wimpey's sponsorship until December 2025. How awesome is that?

After an inspiring meeting with some of the Taylor Wimpey North East team, we were overwhelmed by their enthusiasm and commitment to supporting our cause. Their dedication to making a difference in the lives of poorly children and their families is truly inspiring, and we couldn't be more thrilled to have them by our side on this journey.

Since the sponsorship began, the team at Taylor Wimpey North East has wasted no time in springing into action. From organising a Valentine's raffle to hosting a delicious bake sale and a tombola, they've already raised over £300.00 to support Louie's Trust. But their generosity doesn't stop there. They recently supported us by arranging a collection for our Easter campaign. The amount of donated items was truly overwhelming as they gathered a variety of Easter treats and activities for local children to enjoy. The impact of their efforts was felt far and wide, bringing joy to the children at Sunderland Royal Hospital and The Great North Children’s Hospital. And they're not done yet – not by a long shot. Taylor Wimpey North East is gearing up for even more initiatives, including item donations, further fundraising efforts in the office, and showing their support at sporting events. Their dedication to making a difference knows no bounds, and we couldn't be more grateful for their unwavering support.
