Our partnership with SUEZ began in the most unexpected but meaningful way. At our first Charity Ball hosted by Taylor Wimpey North East, we met Victoria, one of SUEZ’s Regional Managers. She was so moved by Louie’s story and our presentation on the night that she immediately wanted to explore how her team could get involved. Shortly after, we visited their Cramlington office to share our story with the wider team and discuss ways we could work together to benefit the communities we are both a part of.
That meeting was the start of something really exciting. Since then, we’ve connected with other SUEZ site managers across the region and begun shaping projects that go far beyond fundraising. Together, we are looking at creating green spaces around hospitals to encourage patients and families to get fresh air, learn about preservation, and connect with nature. These projects will not only improve the local ecosystem for bees and wildlife but also support children, families, and hospital staff in learning about wellbeing, mental health, and the environment.
On top of this, SUEZ will be sponsoring our official event running t-shirts throughout 2025 and 2026, proudly showcasing the partnership at events across the region. So far, their team has contributed £600.00 to Louie’s, and they are only just getting started. What makes this partnership so special is SUEZ’s determination to involve their whole workforce in supporting us, something that aligns perfectly with our mission to build stronger, kinder communities grounded in respect and care.
